Attention Teachers! If you don't know what a WebQuest is, then you should check out these links. They consist of websites, blogs, and videos. WebQuest's are an excellent way to express your lesson plans creatively!
1. http://www.thirteen.org/edonline/concept2class/webquests/ - This website gives you the explanation of what a Webquest is along with demonstrations and other frequently asked questions that people want the answers to. This website gives you straight answers without having to read a long article to understand the answer.
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6e46g_QcnY – This YouTube video is a video where 1st and 2nd graders, who are gifted learners, tell you what a Webquest is, the benefits of doing a Webquest, if they like them, and examples of Webquests that they are currently doing. I found this to be a great video because it actually has the children saying what it is rather than an adult. It also is very easy to watch.
3. http://www.webquestblog.com/ - This blog is all about Webquests. It mostly gives the reader reading the blog articles or ideas on what to make a Webquest about. It also gives examples of already completed Webquests.
4. http://webquest.sdsu.edu/necc98.htm - This website was created by Bernie Dodge, the inventor of Webquests. It gives direct bullet points with what needs to be in a Webquest along with examples. I would suggest this website to someone who needs straight to the point information of what needs to go where.
5. http://webquest.org/index.php - This website is great because it gives you the information on how to find, create, and share Webquests. It also gives you other useful resources like articles and conversations.
